We have finally finished painting the studio, ready for the new office furniture and setting up the new iMac. Hurrah! It took a bit longer than anticipated as once we finished painting the red feature wall, the other walls were looking a bit scruffy so they had to have a lick of fresh magnolia paint and then I looked at the skirting boards so these had to be painted…
I have to confess, I’m a little bit anal when it comes to painting. The finish has to be right and even, no messy paint splatters on the walls, everything has to be perfect otherwise it will just haunt me whenever I sit in that room.
Here’s a peep of the studio!
The studio is finally ready and my hero of my husband assembled the new office furniture from IKEA yesterday morning. He definalety earned his white chocolate Easter Egg and fry up brunch.
It currently looks like an IKEA Showroom but it will all change soon. In the next few days, I’m going to get all of my files, books, framed pictures, tools, paint, ribbon, card, bits and bobs out of the storage boxes and in place. Not forgetting setting up the iMac which is still in it’s box!
By end of the week, it will look more like MB/LD Studio and continue onto Step Three. Title to follow.
